If you saw Transformers then you saw the trailer for the new JJ Abrams (creator of LOST and Alias) film. This might be the best trailer in the last 10 years for a movie from a buzz stand point. Its a combonation of Blair Witch Project mashed up with a Godzilla like monster that is attacking New York City. The film is untitled as of yet and the only hint about the movie comes from the date 1-18-08 that is shown on the trailer. I being uber nerdy found this and now you are nerdy too. I hope it doesnt suck and let me down like so many other good trailers that turn into a pile of asshole that I wish I could refund the time that I spent watching them.

We should just start a movie review section, I should do something worthwhile between downloading movies and playing CSS lol.

Btw, you're right about that trailer being one of the best in years. And I dunno how they further plan to advertise, but I wonder how many thousands of people would still see the movie if they only released that one trailer, and not even a title.

The Bourne Ultimatum - 7/10
Just more of the same. If you liked the first two, you'll like this. I felt the story was hard to follow from the second film, and I had just watched the first two before going to see this. When the movie was over I found my self asking, "Was that it?". Never the less, the movie is filled with some real intense fighting and action scenes. While this movie could conclude the trilogy, it still leaves the door open for a sequel. Bottom line: If you love action movies, then go see it.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - 6/10
I was rollin' on the floor for about the first hour of the movie. However, as the movie went from crackin' hilarious homo jokes to almost a gay-rights promotion reel I wanted to vommit. Adam Sandler acts like Adam Sandler and he appears with the same crew he is with in almost all of his movies. Overall I got some good laughs out of it but I was disappointed in the final message of the movie. Bottom line: You can wait till this one comes out on DVD.

Hot Rod - 8/10
A whole lot funnier than I expected. Definately the funniest movie to hit theatres this year so far (Superbad might take the cake). If you liked the humor of movies like Napolean Dynamite, Nacho Libre, or Accepted than you'll love this film. Well worth your money. Bottom line: Hilarious film I think pretty much everyone here would enjoy.

Zodiak..... unreal good. Get comfy before you watch that movie because its 2.5hrs long. It is a must see - it will give you the goose bumps like crazy at the end.

Rush Hour 3 - 4/10
You will hear a lot of mixed opions on this film. But after all of the great action and comedy movies I have seen this summer so far, Rush Hour 3 was a huge let down in my own opinion. The plot (if you can call it that) was weaker than a Land Before Time video. Of course there was a few funny lines from Chris Tucker, but other than that the movie wasn't good at all. Bottom Line: Go rent The Notebook instead.

Rush Hour 3 (8/10): i agree with father on the fact that the plot was confusing but it was not a let down i still enjoyed the action (car scene) and the comedy so i must kinda disagree with father.

Im a huge fan of Jackie Chan (I own every Chan movie Rumble in the Bronx, Legend of Drunken Master, Who am I?, etc). I am disregarding Fathers lame review and going to check it out sometime this week.

P.S. Cloverfield is most likely not the name. JJ Abrams is a freaking god when it comes to making any sort of film. Lost is his baby as well as the first seasons of ALIAS which were actually pretty good. If you want to see one of his movies check out Mission Impossible 3 if you haven't seen it already. Badass is all I can say. Trailer was very original but I'm guessing we haven't seen half the shit that he's got up his sleeve. Anything JJ Abrams touches turns to gold.
