You guys ever tryed it ? I used to be a aa fan (like 6 years ago lol) but it's free and there is thrid version now like 4 month old.
Any thoughts ?

I played it for a few weeks. It's somewhat fun but the wait time in between rounds if you die is horribly long. I got bored playing it.

Yea the gameplay from what I remember is EXTREMELY slow. One of the most realistic games out there though. I also like the fact that you're always the U.S. army and your opponents always see you as terrorists.

We played it for a few nights right when it was first released. The game was incredibly shitty in terms of other games out there. I've even go as far to say as the original CoD or RTCW was a better game than AA3. It just seemed light years behind other games. Coupled with the fact that it was extremely laggy...pretty sure the military rented servers in iraq for the opening release...that I played it maybe a total of an hour and haven't touched it since.
I should probably check it out to see if they fixed any of the issues.
