Oh my god...please oh please oh please make this game good. I will stop playing everything to play this. The trailer has me really pumped. I know AK and Jathan better get excited about this shit. Apparently this will interact with the actual Eve universe. Holy fuck I am so pumped for this I can't stand it. They say the online portion will be no less than 64 players fighting at once. And the overall Eve universe will take into account infantry successes. Just stop and think about this for a moment. For those who aren't familar with Eve, the game has a HUGE HUGE HUGE political game that plays inside of the normal game. Alliances, back stabbing, spying, mercs...all that shit happens in the game and you have to be conscious of it at all times. Now, think about BoS being a merc console group for BoB or fucking Goon or some other big alliance. When it releases, control will also be determined by infantry (DUST) successes, not just Eve alliance domination.
I am seriously about to nut my pants. The game has been in development for 3 years now so I pray to God they are close to releasing this. Seriously, if anyone on the planet is going to get an MMOFPS right, CCP could. And the thought that it would play into the uber complexity of Eve...is nothing short of awesome.

ROFL I asked some of the devs at work if they had ever played Eve before and our lead dev was like "No, I don't like to jerk off to spreadsheets in my free time." I lol'd so hard because it is true to some extent.

Definitely a cool concept. I'd probably pick it up if you guys are playing it. Although I'll probably be playing MW2 most of the time.

Yeah, agreed. If she can't watch her f'n shows then she grumbles and goes upstairs. She then gets mad if I play my comp because its upstairs and not near to the tv downstairs. I need a desktop replacement laptop.
