After rebuilding my computer I tried to open the Zune program. It keeps giving me a critical error and closes. I go to the link to check what the error code was and it stated something about resetting some option on the computer that basically deals with digitally copyrighted music from vendors. But given the fact that all my music is pirated or from my own CD's, I didn't want to attempt the extremely long process that risked losing all my music. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software about 3 times. I tried moving to the music from one hard drive to another and back. Nothing has worked. I know it has something to do with the software not recognizing the new hardware installed but I'm lost after that. Any ideas?

Did you switch OSs when you rebuilt? If so, are you using the proper driver? I know there was an issue with Zunes early on in Vista using the XP drivers.

Nah I'm using XP SP3. I found a few other people having similar problems on the Zune forums. I'm going to "unzoone" and then try this auto DRM fixer I found here.
