I had the weirdest thing happen this morning. Seemingly out of no where I just go to boot my PC and I get an error messages that says "reboot and select the proper boot media". Long story short I checked the BIOS and somehow the boot priority got scrambled. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with me leaving a leaving a flash drive in when trying to boot up. Anyone else experience this?

Yeah that will happen on most newer motherboards if you leave a flash drive plugged into the computer. Most of them can boot from a USB device and it just sees that flash drive as another hard drive and it freaks out because it can't find a MBR record or an OS installed.

What he said. We used to boot to flash drives all the time before we got our PXE act together at work
