This is an example. I think it may be an overheating problem because when I restart it goes away and it never really occurred until it got a bit warmer out. Could be dust too, but I cleaned it all out already.

I guess it was around March I started noticing that while watching flash based videos most of the deep black colored objects would have this bright colored pattern go across them. I would restart and it goes away. It started happenning more frequently but only on flash videos. Well, yesterday it appeared in-game for the first time. It's only in areas where it's dark black. I'll post a picture when I get home to show you exactly what I mean. But I was wondering if any of you have any idea what could be causing this. Over heating? Update drivers? The card was just installed last November. I even cleaned any dust out of it to see if that was causing it. I have the Antec 900 case like most of you and I didn't think cooling would be a problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

Can't really say without seeing a picture of it first, but it sounds somewhat like your memory is bad on the graphics card. The alternative would be bad drivers. |

Two of my vid card actually did that (and it burned some time later) and the same, screenshot did look ok. First time: Updating the driver did work but part time. Second time: Vid card burned in the week after it started. |
