I got it install, and have just regular things running. AV, thunderbird, helpdesk work programs, Outlook, IE, Chrome, 2 putty sessions, and explorer open and thats using 2.61gb of ram. Physical memory is 66% AND I have 4gb in here. Doesn't that seem a little high to anyone? It's not like I have anything intensize open my cpu is 5-7-10%

that doesn't seem too high if Aero is on with the AV and Chrome. Chrome usually eats up quite a bit of ram and Aero + Vista will typically eat up 512 to a gig depending on the video card installed.

It's my laptop!!! It has integrated grfx Intel 965x chipset.

Yeah those integrated graphics suck ass for running Aero. We sell laptops at Best Buy with 2 gigs of ram, nice processors, but integrated video and it would run at 80% ram usage with nothing open.

Yeah, it typically frees up a ton if you can kill all the pretty stuff that Aero uses.
