I did the trial of Carbonite for the last 2 weeks and decided to go ahead and sign up. I had thought about doing an external drive for our pictures and video but the more I thought about it I just didn't want to take a chance of something failing and losing it all. Plus we have a HDD camcorder that I can rip right to the computer and I didn't want to lose those files either. If anyone is interested in signing up, it is $55/year for unlimited space (there is a 14 day free trial as well). I have referral codes for anyone who wants to try it out. the best is that it is $125 for three years. pretty cheap and i think that you get a pretty good amount of space. one of my colleagues loves it. |
