I did the trial of Carbonite for the last 2 weeks and decided to go ahead and sign up. I had thought about doing an external drive for our pictures and video but the more I thought about it I just didn't want to take a chance of something failing and losing it all. Plus we have a HDD camcorder that I can rip right to the computer and I didn't want to lose those files either. If anyone is interested in signing up, it is $55/year for unlimited space (there is a 14 day free trial as well). I have referral codes for anyone who wants to try it out. If you even think you might be interested, do the trial and see what you think.

the best is that it is $125 for three years. pretty cheap and i think that you get a pretty good amount of space. one of my colleagues loves it.
